Hallelujah!

Yesterday

Mark 13-16
The amount of witnesses throughout Mark are astounding. Simon of Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus... you don't believe Jesus really went to the cross, try talking with these two guys. Yes, I know they aren't here now, but how many people went to talk to them in their day? Just thinking about all the people that Jesus fed - even if the 4,000 and the 5,000 were all the same people - they were witnesses to the power of God. Back in the day I could have gone to chat with them. I could have asked about what it was like... remember that time Jesus healed the local deaf boy? What about that guy that come down through the ceiling, wasn't that just crazy? How about the time the women came up to him and just touched him, but there must of been so many people, how did he know? Was she embarrased or blessed because Jesus talked with her?

Power of a Praying Husband - Motherhood
Jaime is not a mother yet... not even trying yet. But we are praying about this more and more, preparing our hearts and minds and asking God to prepare faithful children for his service.

The power of prayer is overwhelming! Ask and it will be given to you - John 15:16; if two or more agree and ask it will be done - Matthew 18:19; one will chase away 1,000 and 2 will make 10,000 flee - Deuteronomy 32:30... God help me to pray!

Prayer
I am reminded to trust you Lord. I think about the times I have trusted you, really asking you to do something, and you do. God thank you for your blessings, help me to bless others. I have received so much, help me to give freely to others knowing you will provide for all my needs (and most of my wants too). God give me success in ministry, give me your understanding of success. Help me to surrender everything to you each day, faithfully taking up the good works you have prepared for me. Bless me with humility and generousity in spirit, love, time, and finances. God you are so wonderful, thank you for your Son Jesus. May you be praised in my life, through Jesus I pray, Amen.
