Duck & the Future

Yesterday
Going back to class was interesting. I feel as though I lost some time, ability, and energy, not studying for about a week. In the second class, I was the only student. So I struggled through the lesson, but had complete focus on me. At the end, I was thankful for the class and thankful it was over.

We had dinner with an exploratory group from Lipscomb at the famous Peking Duck restaurant:
Quan Ju De

Chaoyang
Area: Shuangjing (Inner E 3rd Ring Rd)
8 Guangqumen Outer. St, U-Space

Phone: 58612288, 4007001864
Site: Chinese only: www.quanjude.com.cn

This was to establish some understanding of what we do and what they are intending to do when they bring a group of students in late May.

On the way there and on the way home I tried to give a Bible to the taxi drivers, both said no thanks. These were the first two to refuse this gift.

Acts 25-28
The last section of Acts reads like a history book more than the Bible, yet Paul continues to heal and bless all those he is able. The Jews in Rome don't want anything to do with Jesus either.

Power of a Praying Husband - Future
Praying for Jaime to increasingly place her trust in God, knowing that he holds her heart, future, and everything in his hand. We can only truly rely on God for safety, health, and all that the future holds.

Prayer
Lord, bless Jaime and I with increasingly convicted hearts to trust you in every area of our lives; to know that you are our safety, security, and salvation! God thank you for blessing us with each other. Help us to put away all others, the memory of past relationships that invade our hearts and are being used by the devil to erode faith in one another and faith in you. Give us your blessings of joy, grace, and mercy towards one another so that we can honor you in our relationship as a witness for you.
